2010 Election Season
RI CFA talked individually with the candidates for Governor in lieu of a Public Forum. The meetings were structured as one part policy briefing, one part conversation/interview, with the goal of garnering the candidates' positions on the information presented as well as their general views on the arts and creative sector. The policy brief included a quick overview of a briefing book presented to each candidate outlining our policy initiatives as well as the data to support the policies. This series of report backs follow the schedule of conversations. As always let us know your thoughts on these reports.
Candidates Speak Out on the Arts
As the election season is upon us, RI CFA will be working with candidates and pursuing policy initatives favorable to the arts and creative sector. To warm up the conversation, we did video interviews with the candidates, in collaboration with the Arts & Business Council of RI and GoLocalProv.com.
