In Rhode Island, the general rule of 'six degrees of separation' is more like three degrees. This puts us in a particular advantage. We don't need to go very far to reach our elected officials.
Given the challenging climate, seen more clearly through the fight for NEA funding—our need to maintain ground locally cannot go understated.
